• Cecilia. I live in Malmö, Sweden. I am very passionate about art and creating beautiful things.

  • I am incredible fond of nature and the handcrafted beauty found in antique items, such as pillboxes, embrodied handkerchiefs, porcelain and lace. Before the beauty in everyday objects was replaced by minimalistic practicality. Beauty and art as a natural part of something rather than an additional or separate element is what inspires me the most. And in my own art what I want to convey.

My own artworks often gravitate towards a muted, pastel colourpalette with off-white as a base. I like to use few but contrasting colours. I find insects, plants and flora to inspire me the most regarding shape and texture, as well as moths and butterflies, mushrooms and sea anemones.

  • I have been painting and drawing since I was a child and have always had an artistic passion. I like pottery and clay sculpting a lot, as well as music and performative art as a listener and viewer.

I have also a big love for writing and artistic expression in forms of text. I did a year of creative writing in England, York, and have been writing as a hobby for a long time.

I will be taking a practical course in textile pattern design in February 2026.

  • There are many fields that interest me within the creative job market. However, it’s illustrative design that is closest to my heart and main interest, and I would love to be able to utelise my artistic expression and ability into a job as a living.
